Guide to ETTI AuthorsThe TECHNOLOGY INTERFACE has been developed to provide professionals in the Engineering Technology profession and related fields, the opportunity to share ideas concerning teaching, teaching improvements, projects, industrial activities, research and much more. The TECHNOLOGY INTERFACE is seeking qualified authors from the many professionals in universities, 2-year schools, vocational schools and high schools and from industry profesionals. Submitted work must be original or not previously distributed on-line. The articles must be relevant to the Engineering Technology profession. Each submitted document will be peer-reviewed by professionals from that field. The only exception to this will be invited papers. Invited papers will usually be requested by either the editor or the associate editors. A manuscript accepted for publication in the TECHNOLOGY INTERFACE will appear in the next publication. Therefore there will be a minimum time delay for publication. MANUSCRIPT REQUIREMENTSThe TECHNOLOGY INTERFACE is intended to be a paperless (environmentally friendly) on-line publication via the World-Wide Web (WWW) specifically for the Engineering Technology profession. Submissions to the TECHNOLOGY INTERFACE such as an article submission, peer-review of submitted documents, requested editing changes, notification of acceptance or rejection, and final publication of the accepted manuscript will be handled electronically via WWW. Authors must be capable of communicating with the TECHNOLOGY INTERFACE via WWW. Manuscripts submitted to the TECHNOLOGY INTERFACE must be prepared either in either Microsoft Word or WordPerfect format. Manuscripts submitted in Word or WordPerfect should be prepared in a style similar to documents already appearing in the Technology Interface. Use [#] for numbering references, incorporate all images in the document, prepare tables in a proper Word format, do not use Tabbed text for tables. Margin formats are not specified for the Word submissions. Try to maintain a style similar to articles currently on-line. Papers published in the Technology Interface will appear in both HTML and Adobe .pdf format which can be read using Adobe Acrobat Reader.
