Q. Is the Technology Interface Journal a peer reviewed journal?
A. Yes, all articles appearing in the the Technology Interface Journal are peer reviewed. Each article is reviewed by at least two reviewers. Book reviews and Techtips are usually reviewed by one reviewer.

Q. What software does the Technology Interface Journal use for creating the HTML files?
A. Articles submitted to the Technology Interface must be prepared in Microsoft Word and WordPerfect. We use their converters to create the HTML document and Adobe Professional to create the pdf files.

Q. Do I have to know HTML to publish in the Technology Interface Journal?
A. No, simply submit your paper in Microsoft Word or WordPerfect format and follow the guidelines provided in the Author Information template to prepare your paper.

Q. What types of articles are appropriate for publishing in the Technology Interface Journal?
A. The concept of the Technology Interface Journal is similar to an industry trade magazine in that articles appearing in the Technology Interface Journal must be useful for our continuing education and day-to-day activities. This means that the topic areas are very broad. The paper could be as short as a handout you provide to your class, an example lab exercise, a homework exercise or the paper could be a very detailed decription of a semester project, a tutorial over a difficult topic. Editorials are welcome in addition to papers discussing curriculum changes and new teaching methods. Basically, the Technology Interface Journal is a place for members of our profession to easily exchange ideas.

A.Yes, we do encourage articles from industry.

Q. How do I reference a publication in the Technology Interface Journal?
A. Publications appearing in the Technology Interface Journal can be referenced as follows:

Q. How long will past issues remain online?
A. Our plan is to leave all past issues available on line all the time. We also plan to place a search engine online so that viewers can easily search past articles.
